With more than 25 years of experience in the industry, Esmann Energy can contribute with advice, expert knowledge and an overview of the various phases of a renewable energy project.
Back in 2008 – based on 10 years of experience within the wind turbine business – Thomas Esmann headed the development and construction of project Bondön near Piteå in Sweden. With 14 wind turbines the project Bondön was the largest wind turbine project ever build in Sweden in 2008. Thomas Esmann acquired one of the 14 wind turbines – shown in the photo – and this wind turbine investment happened to be the starting point of Esmann Energy. Today, more than 15 years later, Esmann Energy has headed the development and construction of a significant number of other renewable energy projects, primarily within Scandinavia, and been engaged in many other business activities developed within the renewable energy business.
Originally educated as an export engineer, Thomas has been focusing on renewable energy for more than 25 years – with a particular emphasis on developing wind turbine projects and latest also photovoltaic projects. Having held various commercial leadership roles in the wind turbine industry, Thomas has built a broad and detailed knowledge of all aspects of renewable energy development projects.
In addition to his extensive experience, Thomas also possesses a vast and stable network within the industry. His many years in the field, where he has collaborated across organizational and managerial levels, have provided him with an exceptionally broad and adaptable approach.
